Navigating Morocco was founded after I realized there was a severe lack of “real” interaction with the locals and life in Morocco for those visiting or moving to the country. Many tourist companies are made up of a standard setup of showing visitors the same tourist traps and sites. We are the only company that prides and understands the importance of orientation and how crucial it is when moving to or visiting a new country for the first time. It can make or break your experience! The team at Navigating Morocco works extremely hard to ensure that every visitor to this magical Kingdom experiences the local way of life - everything is very “hands-on” for those wanting to get an authentic feel of life in Morocco.
Navigating Morocco works diligently with the locals to establish harmonious relationships in creating unforgettable experiences for those visiting Morocco as well as contributing to the local communities and trade.
Our head office is based in Marrakesh, but we boast a number of services all over Morocco. We curate custom made tours all over Morocco, excursions (full & half-day), workshops, the local crafts experiences (carpet weaving, bread-making, pottery workshops to name a few), volunteering opportunities (long-term & short-term available), guided tours, study abroad opportunities, complete event management, and lots more. We have a dedicated team for relocation services and our top priority is to guarantee newcomers can begin to fit in straight away. Our staff is multi-lingual, and passionate about Morocco and its history and we boast a large network of contacts in all arenas!
We are proud to offer unique walks in Marrakesh which include “Navigating the Souks”, “The Medina Wall Walk”, “A Walk with the Locals”, “The Secret Medina Walk”, “The Walk back in Time” and many more... These are specially designed for visitors who want to orient themselves within the city with ease and enjoy parts of the city not usually explored by newcomers. YLM works tirelessly to curate experiences that are interesting, fun, affordable, and unique.
At Navigating Morocco, we carry a strong belief in the necessity of providing safety, comfort and a better understanding of Morocco. We hold an “Orientation Meeting” upon arrival for every group/ individual who books a full tour with us or at least 3 experiences. We believe from our own personal experiences, it is essential that new visitors to Morocco feel at ease in their new surroundings, as it can sometimes feel overwhelming. We are very much a “hands-on” company and are here to ensure you feel at ease and enjoy every step of your trip. In addition, we also provide a Moroccan SIM card along with a handheld phone to use in your time here – perfect for you to make any local calls and for family & friends back home who need to get in touch with you. We also have a dedicated emergency number which is on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for any emergencies you may have - you can be assured we are on call to help.
We cater to all – Solo & female travelers, families, large and small groups, couples, and those on a tight budget. We provide additional services such as babysitting & workshops for young children.
